It's all about God's glory. It's all about putting the focus on the Almighty and not the works of men. It's all about the privilege of using God-given instruments to declare His worth.

On the surface this new recording appears to share the approach of the A Cappella Projects, i.e., it features a mix of original songs and hymns, plus a few Glad-ized versions of already popular songs. The difference here is in the choice of songs which are drawn specifically from a repertoire designed to be used in a worship context-- songs which are both vertical in orientation and focused on conveying honor to God because of all He has accomplished through the Cross of Christ. The other difference lies in the music itself-- more frequent use of homophony, an emphasis on dynamic range, and greater expression of passion in singing.

Seven of the eleven songs are written by writers who are associated with PDI churches(www.pdinet.org), including Bob Kauflin, Vikki Cook, and Mark Altrogge.
